In this article we will learn how to verify & add blogger blog in Google Webmaster Central. You need to follow below steps:
Login to your blogger Account.
Click on Settings » Click on search preferences. Go to Crawlers and indexing section.
Click on Edit link against “Google Search Console”. It will take you to webmaster tools page. (refer below screen)
You might see either “ADD A SITE” or “ADD A PROPERTY” button on the page.
Click on it. It will open a pop-up window as below. Enter your website address and click on “Add” button and: add your blog
It will open a Webmaster Central page, having two options to verify your website as below screens:
Go to 2nd tab “Alternate methods”. Here select “HTML tag” option. It is the best option to verify your website. You need to copy the given Meta tag and paste it into your website home page (refer below screen).
Go to your blogger account. You can click either on “Template” or “Theme”.
Click on “Edit HTML” button. Paste the copied meta tag under <head> section & Save theme as below:
Now, click on “Save theme”. It will be loading your site. Till then Go to “Webmaster Central” window from where you copied the Meta tag.
Click on “Verify” button. Here, Google server will check your website for authentication. If it validates successfully, you can see the verified message from the Webmaster Central to use Google services as below screen. Now your site is added to Webmaster Central.

You can do further settings from the options provided by Webmaster Central. Click on “Webmaster Tools” link. It will open WebTools page. Here you can search your website and manage it.
From the WebTools page, navigate to Search Console page.
Click on Search Console link in navigation panel. It will take you to Search console window. Here you can see your website details. refresh search console screen
How to Set Google Analytics Property
Google Analytics property will track and generate reports for your website traffic. To add this property, Click on your website link e.g. https://istogrami365.blogspot.com given in your Google Search Console Window. It will open a new window as below:
Click on Settings menu. Click on Google Analytics Property (refer above screen). It will open a new screen as below:
Click on Create Google Analytics account if your site is not linked to any web property. You will get a pop-up window as above screen.
Click on OK button. It will take you to Analytics web page where you need to do SignUp.
Fill the form & Click on “Get Tracking Id” button. It will open a pop-up to Accept the service agreement. Select your country / region of residence. E.g. if you are resident of India then select India in drop down.
Click on “I Accept” button. (refer below screen)
It will generate your tracking ID & opens a window like below:
Now, you can generate & view your website analysis report.
